A great journey starts with packing your bags so to ensure you know what you can and cannot take and what your free baggage allowance is for international flights. We have put together the following baggage essentials information for you:

• Cabin baggage
• Checked baggage
• Excess baggage
• Bulky items eg. Surfboards, golf clubs
• Delayed baggage

International Cabin baggage

All destinations

When travelling with Air Pacific, you can choose to travel with carry-on baggage on both international economy and business class travel flights.

* Total dimensions are measured by adding together the height, width and depth of the bag.

Important notice for international passengers travelling to Honolulu via Apia

Passengers transiting via Apia on flights between Nadi and Honolulu will have all carry-on liquid products confiscated at Apia. This includes, but is not limited to, duty free alcohol and perfume purchased from Nadi International Airport or any other international airport.

International Checked Baggage

All flight destinations, including Honolulu (except travel to/from USA/Canada)

Travel to/from USA & Canada (excluding Honolulu)

Effective 31 May 2013: Travel to/from USA and Canada, Economy Class baggage allowance is 1 piece at 23kg.

*Total dimensions* of no 1 piece should exceed 158cm (62in). A single piece of luggage must not exceed 30kg. Total dimensions are measured by adding together the height, width and depth of the bag. For further information on baggage liability please consult our Terms & Conditions of Carriage.

1. Be sure to label baggage inside and out, and with your name, address and contact number for your destination. Labels can be obtained from Air Pacific, your local travel agent or at check-in.
2. If part of journey includes code share flights or flights on other airlines, operating carriers' baggage allowance applies.
3. Mattresses will not be accepted for carriage as checked baggage. (Accepted as Freight only).
4. All Pacific Sun flights are weight restricted for safety reasons and depending on load; bags/surboards may not be carried on same flights.

International Flight Excess baggage

Flight excess baggage charges apply when a traveller's checked-in luggage exceeds the free allowance either by weight or by the number of pieces permitted. Please contact your nearest Air Pacific office to find out the applicable excess luggage fees for your journey. The prices quoted below are subject to change without notice.

Oversized Baggage/Bulky Items Charge

1. Bulky items consist of any piece exceeding 158cm (62in) in total dimensions
2. Bulky items may include surfboards, golf bags and other equipment
3. Bulky items are subject to the bulky item fee plus the rate of excess weight beyond each passenger’s allowance (see excess rates above)
4. Any piece exceeding 292cm (115in) in dimensions will not be accepted as checked baggage
